Halloween

Two weeks ago, I heard hoot owls calling in the trees.  The night was dark and damp, moonless and still.  The lonely sound drew my ear and my head turned to follow, but I forced my attention elsewhere.  As I walked with Lisa through the warm and thick night air, she spoke at length about a problem at work.

By the next night, the hoots owls were gone.

Last night a full moon was a beacon in the cold and crisp night sky.  The stars were like diamonds on black velvet.  I longed to see the goblins among the shadows under the oaks, but I stood in the house near the door, until the trick-or-treaters were gone, and then was too late to venture out into the dark.

Boo!

Great photos!
I hope Lisa's problems are resolved.
